The average of age of father and mother is 45 years. If the age of daughter is included. The average of the three falls to 35. Find the age of daughter ?

Solution

Given,
(f+m)/2=45
=>f+m=90......(1)
Similarly, f+m+d=105......(2)
Subracting (2) from (1) we get,
d=15
