Question 133

If $$\frac{5x}{2x^2+5x+1}=\frac{1}{3}$$ then the value of $$(x+\frac{1}{2x})$$ is

Solution

Expression : $$\frac{5x}{2x^2+5x+1}=\frac{1}{3}$$

=> $$2x^2 + 5x + 1 = 15x$$

=> $$2x^2 + 1 = 10x$$

To find : $$(x+\frac{1}{2x})$$

= $$\frac{2x^2 + 1}{2x}$$

= $$\frac{10x}{2x}$$

= 5
