Males : Females = 1 : 1.5
=> No. of males = $$\frac{1}{2.5} * 75000$$ = 30000
No. of females = $$\frac{1.5}{2.5} * 75000$$ = 45000
Thus, no. of males is less than females by = 45000 - 30000 = 15000
