Question 13

In the following question, two statements are given each followed by two conclusions I and II. You have to consider the statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. You have to decide which of the given conclusions, if any, follows from the given statements.
Statement:
(I) If we are lucky then things automatically fall in place.
(II) Luck follows only when we work hard.
Conclusions:
(I) Hard work is the key to success.
(II) If you don’t work hard, luck will not follow you.

The second statement clearly indicates that luck follows only when we work hard. Thus the second conclusion which states that if you don't work hard, luck will not follow you definitely follows. Also, first conclusion also follows, as things work out well when we work hard.

Thus, conclusion I and II both follow.

=> Ans - (B)
