How many triangles are present in the following figure ?

The different triangles in the figure ADF are AED, AEF, ADF, AJC, AJG, ACG, AIB, AIH, ABH

Number of triangles in the figure ADF = 9

Figures KFL and MFL are similar to figure ADF. So number of triangles in figures KFL and MFL are equal to figure ADF.

Number of triangles in the figure KFL = 9

Number of triangles in the figure MFL = 9

The remaining triangles in the given figure are KFM and KLM

Number of remaining triangles = 2

$$\therefore\ $$Number of triangles in the given figure = 9 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 29

Hence, the correct answer is Option A
