Given perimeter of a right circular cone = 44 cms

$$\therefore$$ 2$$\pi$$r = 44 (or) 2($$\frac{22}{7}$$)r = 44 (or) r = 7

Height of the cone = 24 cms (given)

Slant height (l) = $$\sqrt{24^{2} + 7^{2}} = \sqrt{576 + 49} = \sqrt{625} = 25$$

Curved surface area of the cone = $$\pi$$rl = ($$\frac{22}{7})(7)(25) = 550$$

Hence, option A is the correct answer.
