Question 127

$$30\% of 200 +\sqrt{?} = 48\% of 550 - 10\% of 150$$

Solution

Expression : $$30\% of 200 +\sqrt{?} = 48\% of 550 - 10\% of 150$$

=> $$(\frac{30}{100} \times 200) + (\sqrt{?}) = (\frac{48}{100} \times 550) - (\frac{10}{100} \times 150)$$

=> $$60 + \sqrt{?} = 264 - 15$$

=> $$\sqrt{?} = 249 - 60$$

=> $$? = 189^2 = 35721$$
