Let the piece of Work be W.
Let the speed of A be x and that of B be y.
Now, together they can complete the work in 4 days.
W/(x+y) = 4, W = 4x + 4y
A alone can complete in 6 days.
W/x = 6, W = 6x.
On substituting value of W in terms of x, we get
x = 2y
y = x/2
The speed of B is half of A.
B will complete the work in 12 days.
