=> $$(\frac{38}{100} \times 4500) - (\frac{25}{100} \times x) = 1640$$
=> $$1710 - \frac{x}{4} = 1640$$
=> $$\frac{x}{4} = 1710 - 1640 = 70$$
=> $$x = 70 \times 4 = 280$$
