Solution

Ajay's 1 day work =Â $$\frac{1}{12}$$
Both's 1 day work =Â $$\frac{1}{9}+\frac{1}{12}=\frac{7}{36}$$
So, both can do the work in $$5\frac{1}{7}$$ days.
