What is the respective ratio of the difference between the number of units manufactured and sold in the year 2005 to the difference between the number of units manufactured and sold in the year 2006 ?

Number of units manufactured in the year 2005 = 5.5

Number of units sold in the year 2005 = 5

=> Difference = 5.5 - 5 = 0.5

Number of units manufactured in the year 2006 = 5

Number of units sold in the year 2006 = 3

=> Difference = 5 - 3 = 2

$$\therefore$$ Required ratio = 0.5 : 2 = 5 : 20

= 1 : 4
