Solution
Let BC = x and AC = y
$$\therefore sin 30 = \frac{BC}{AC}$$
=> $$\frac{1}{2} = \frac{x}{y}$$
=> $$y = 2x$$
After 1 second, required speed, $$x = \frac{y}{2}$$
= $$\frac{2}{2} = 1$$ m/s
