The production of AA type in 1998-99 is what percent of the total defect-free production in that year?
Solution
Total production of AA in 1998-99 = 520
Defect-free production in 1998-99 = 461 + 598 + 349 + 282 + 508 = 2198
Required % = $$\frac{520}{2198}\times\ 100\ =\ 23.65\%$$
Answer is option A.
