What is the respective ratio between the cost of five kg. of apples from Ropar and the cost of four kg. grapes from Chandigarh?

Solution

The cost of apples in Ropar = Rs. 40/ kilo

The cost of grapes in Chandigarh = Rs. 100/ kilo

So, the required ratio = 5 * 40 : 4 * 100 = 200 : 400 = 1 : 2
