3 + 7 = 10
1 X (10 + 3) - 5 = 8
2 X (8 + 10) + 3 = 39
3 X (39 + 8) - 1 = 140
So, similarly we can find (a), (b), (c), (d)
(a) = 1 + 7 = 8
(b) = 1 X (8 + 1) - 5 = 4
(c) = 2 X (4 + 8) + 3 = 27
(d) = 3 X (27 + 4) -1 = 92
Thus, C is the correct answer.
