The number of neon lamps having life of 600 hours or more but less than 800 hours is what percentage of the total number of neon lamps having a life of 800 hours or more?

Solution

The number of neon lamps having life of 600 hours or more but less than 800 hours = 75 + 90 = 165

Number of neon lamps having a life of 800 hours or more = 80 + 70 + 55 + 35 = 240

=> Required % = $$\frac{165}{240}\times100=68.75\%$$
