Number of students who appeared for the exam from school A was what percent more than that who appeared from school D ?

Solution

Number of students who appeared for the exam from school A = 200

Number of students who appeared for the exam from school D = 160

=> Required % = $$\frac{200 - 160}{160} \times 100$$

= $$\frac{1}{4} \times 100 = 25 \%$$
