Total time between 10 pm to 6 am = 8 hours
% time spent in deep sleep and awake = 20 + 40 = 60%
=> Time spent in deep sleep and awake = $$\frac{60}{100} \times 8$$
= $$\frac{48}{10} = 4.8$$ hours
