Question 100

Difference between the total runs scored against Australia and New Zealand and the total runs scored against Sri Lanka and Pakistan make what sectorial angle (in degrees) in the pie chart?

Solution

Runs scored against Australia and New Zealand (in %) = 25 + 16 = 41%

Runs scored against Sri Lanka and Pakistan (in %) = 9 + 12 = 21%

=> Required difference = 41 - 21 = 20%

$$\therefore$$ Central angle = $$\frac{20}{100}\times360^\circ$$

= $$\frac{360}{5}=72^\circ$$

=> Ans - (D)
