Capacities of two workers P and Q are in the ratio 3 : 2. What amount of the daily wages of Rs.400 should be given to P?
Solution
p 'efficiency = 3X days
Q' efficiency= 2X days
Total wage = 400
total efficiency = 3X + 2X = 5X
= $$total wage\total efficiency$$
=$$400\5X$$
x = 80
so p's wage = $$3\times 80= 240$$
Q's wage = $$2\times 80= 160$$
