The correct option is C.

Let the Tom’s current age = $$x$$

Tom’s father current age =$$3x$$

Form question, $$7(x-10)=3x-10$$

$$\implies$$ $$7x-70=3x-10$$

$$\implies$$ $$4x=60$$

$$x=15years$$
