The JEE Mains Exam Centre List 2027 is expected to include more than 300 cities across India, along with approximately 15 international locations. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the official list of examination cities along with the JEE Main 2027 information bulletin. Candidates can select their preferred exam cities while filling out the online application form. While preparing for the examination, students can also take a JEE Mains mock test to become familiar with the exam pattern, question format and time management. When selecting their preferred exam cities, candidates should consider travel distance, accessibility and convenience. However, the final exam centre will be allotted by NTA based on availability and administrative requirements. Candidates should check the official notification for the confirmed list of exam cities and other important instructions before completing their registration.

How to Find Your JEE Main 2027 Test City Before the Admit Card
NTA releases a city intimation slip before issuing the JEE Main admit card. The slip tells candidates which examination city they have received. Students can then arrange their travel or accommodation if the city is far from home.
The slip does not contain the exact examination centre address. NTA issues that information separately through the admit card. For JEE Mains 2027 Session 1, the city intimation slip is expected in January 2027. NTA has not announced its exact release date yet.
Session 2 candidates can expect a separate city intimation process closer to their examination. Students should keep their application number and login details ready. The official website will provide the download link once NTA releases the slip.
Candidates can follow these steps to check their allotted examination city:
- Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Find the JEE Main 2027 City Intimation Slip link.
- Select the relevant session if NTA provides separate links.
- Enter the application number and other required login details.
- Submit the details to view the allotted examination city.
- Download the slip and check the examination information.

How to Check Allotted City and Address
Candidates can check their exact JEE Main 2027 exam centre address after NTA releases the admit card. Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in and log in using the required application details. The admit card contains the examination centre name, complete address, exam date, shift, and reporting time. It also mentions the gate closing time and important instructions for candidates
Students should download the admit card and check all details mentioned correctly. Knowing your allotted exam city does not mean you know the exact examination centre. Check the complete address and identify the location on a map before the examination.
Students should also check the JEE Mains 2027 Exam Date schedule and confirm their assigned shift. NTA generally does not permit centre changes after allotment. Candidates who find incorrect details should contact the official NTA helpdesk for assistance.
The admit card contains several details that students must verify before travelling to their examination centre. Students should use their final admit card to locate the examination venue. The expected JEE Mains Exam Centre List 2027 only identifies possible examination cities, not individual test centres.
Admit Card Detail | What Students Should Check |
Exam centre name | Name of the allotted venue |
Centre address | Complete address and location |
Exam date and shift | Assigned date and examination timing |
Reporting time | Time to reach the examination centre |
Gate closing time | Final deadline for entry |
Candidate details | Name, photograph and roll number |
Documents Required and Exam Day Guidelines
Students appearing for JEE Main 2027 must carry the documents that NTA specifies for examination entry. These include the printed admit card, original photo identity proof, and passport-size photographs.
Candidates may also need a self-declaration form and relevant PwD/PwBD documents. NTA's 2026 Session 2 advisory required at least two passport-size photographs. It also required candidates to carry their original identity proof.
Candidates must reach their exam centre at the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. NTA conducts identity verification, security checks, and other entry formalities before the examination begins. Students arriving after the gate closing time will not receive permission to enter the examination hall.
The following table lists the documents students should keep ready for JEE Main 2027.
Document | Requirement |
JEE Main Admit Card | Printed copy with undertaking, if required |
Photo Identity Proof | Original and valid ID |
Passport-Size Photographs | As specified by NTA |
Self-Declaration Form | Completed, if required |
PwD/PwBD Certificate | For applicable candidates |
