The number of terms in a binomial expansion is given by
n+r-1C r-1
Here, n=10(power) and r=3(terms inside bracket)
So, number of terms = 12C2 = 66

Since x can only take the even values between 1 and 42 the number of terms in the expansion will be 40/2+1 i.e. 21
