CAT:
The Common Admission Test is the biggest management entrance exam in India undoubtedly. Given that, 3.28 lakh people registered for it last year. Registration is done online from the first week of August to mid-September surely. It is conducted on the last Sunday of November every year specifically. For every correct answer, you will get a score of +3 and for every wrong answer, a negative marking of -1 marks subsequently.
XAT:
In like manner, Xaviers' Aptitude Test is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur for admission to XLRI and other top B-schools in India. Over 1.35 lakh students applied for XAT in 2024 significantly. This exam has 3 sections- Verbal and Logical Ability, Data Interpretation and Quantitative Ability, and Decision Making. The registration process begins in the second week of July and continues till the first week of December.
MAT:
The All India Management Association (AIMA) has established the MAT pattern 2024. The MAT is a speed-based exam, similar to other MBA admission tests, where applicants must complete questions in 2.5 hours. There are three ways to take the MAT exam: online, via computer, or by paper-based testing (PBT, CBT, and IBT). The MAT test is administered in four phases. The sectional makeup and test structure of the three modes are identical. The MAT test is easy to moderately difficult. Questions come from Language Comprehension, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills and Intelligence, Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment.
IPU CET:
The Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test is moderated by GGSIU. The registrations are open till March 31, 2024. This exam is conducted in both online and offline modes. It consists of 150 questions with 4 marks for a correct answer and no negative marking for a wrong answer. The duration of this exam is 2.5 hours. ATMA:
The AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is conducted in a center-based mode. Exams are scheduled for February 18, 2024, May 11, 2024, June 23, 2024, and July 21, 2024 this year. The ATMA test typically has a low to moderate difficulty level, making preparation simple for applicants. Applicants for the test may be any graduate candidate with an aggregate of 50% (45% for the restricted category). The applicant's citizenship in India is another crucial need. The ATMA test has no upper age limit for participation. Applicants who are in their last year of education or who are waiting on their results may also take the ATMA test. This is on Condition to provide their mark sheet when they are admitted.
GMAT:
The GMAT is a computer-adaptive exam designed to evaluate a candidate's verbal, mathematical, and data interpretation abilities. The scores of both GMAT and GMAT Focus Edition will be valid for 5 years. The GMAT test (old edition) was offered until January 31st of this year, at which point it was terminated. Beginning in February, the GMAT Focus Edition will be administered instead of the GMAT. The GMAT pattern comprises of four sections:
