CMAT Shift 1 Paper Analysis 2024
The CMAT 2024 exam has five sections with 20 questions each: Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The total time given to attempt all 100 questions is 180 minutes (3 hours).

CMAT Previous Year Paper Analysis
In the past, candidates found the Quant and DI sections of the CMAT exam to be challenging. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship section had moderate difficulty with a focus on current affairs. Language Comprehension was considered easy with more questions on antonyms-synonyms and para jumbles.

The CMAT 2023 exam had a moderate difficulty level in the morning session and was relatively easier in the afternoon. The Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation section was more challenging than the other sections. CMAT Paper Analysis 2022
The CMAT 2022 exam had 100 multiple choice questions in 5 sections with a negative marking of 25%. It was a 3-hour exam worth 400 marks. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship section was moderately difficult, Language Comprehension and Logical Reasoning were easier than last year, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation were tougher than last year, and General Awareness was less focused on current affairs and of moderate difficulty.

CMAT Paper Analysis 2021
The CMAT 2021 exam was held on March 31 in two slots, with an optional section given an extra half hour. The computer-based exam lasted for three hours with five sections of 25 multiple-choice questions each. Correct answers were given four marks and a penalty of one mark for every wrong answer. There was no sectional time limit, and candidates could move freely across sections throughout the exam duration.

CMAT Paper Analysis 2020
The Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension section of the exam had easy to moderate level questions, with six questions on reading comprehension and the rest on verbal ability. The general awareness section was considered difficult by candidates, with some ambiguous questions on topics such as the Indian Constitution and recent acts of Parliament.

CMAT Paper Analysis 2019
The CMAT 2019 Shift-2 exam was moderately difficult with a focus on current affairs and static facts in the GK section. The cut offs are expected to be low and the exam was rescheduled in Srinagar for January 29, 2019. This is the first CMAT conducted by NTA.

CMAT Exam Analysis 2018
The CMAT 2018 was not surprising and had a moderate difficulty level, but Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness were slightly harder. Students found half of the Data Interpretation and the General Awareness section to be difficult, but hoped to do well in the Quant and Language Comprehension sections as they were easier to understand.

CMAT Exam Analysis 2017
The General Awareness section of an exam covered topics such as economic developments, government policies, and initiatives like Demonetization and Digital India. Arithmetic had the most questions, with other topics like Algebra, Geometry, and Modern Math also included. The reading comprehension section had four passages, with three being short and one being lengthy. The Logical Reasoning section had independent questions rather than set-based ones.
