CMAT 2027
The NTA administers the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2027, a national level admission test to MBA and PGDM courses in India. It will consist of 100 multiple choice questions in three hours of 5 sections namely: Quants, Logical Reasoning, English, General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. It will be held in January 2027 (registration starts around November 2026).
CMAT Exam Date 2027
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct the CMAT 2027 exam, which is expected to be conducted in late January 2027. It is a national level managerial entrance examination to MBA and PGDM in India.
CMAT Registration Process 2027
The CMAT 2027 registration process is expected to start in November 2026 on the official NTA website and end in December 2026. The registration process of CMAT 2027 will look as follows:
New Registration: To generate your application number visit the NTA site (cmat.nta.nic.in) and select New Registration.
Fill out the application: Use your credentials to log in and enter your personal information, academic background, and work experience (where applicable).
Upload Files: Upload a scanned signature (less than 30 kb) and a passport-sized photo (less than 60 kb).
Select Test Cities: Select the city you would like to take the CMAT exam in that is closer to your home town.
Application fees: Pay the form fees online via Net Banking, a debit / credit card or UPI.
CMAT Syllabus 2027
CMAT Syllabus 2027 curriculum can be broken down into five broad categories, namely, Language Comprehension (English) and Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation (Maths), Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness as well as Innovation and Entrepreneurship. It is a 3-hour computer based examination consisting of 100 multiple choice questions (20 questions in each part) which totals 400 marks. Check the below table for details.

CMAT Notification 2027
The notification of CMAT 2027 is likely to be published in October or November 2026 by the National Testing Agency (NTA). One must have a bachelor's degree in an accredited university; final-year students who will graduate in 2027 may also apply. The exam is used to do MBA admissions all over India.
CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2027
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will determine the CMAT 2027 qualifying requirements. There is no age restriction to the exam. Applicants have to ensure that they meet the academic requirements before they are registered.
Nationality: Applicant should be an Indian citizen.
Educational Requirement: Any degree at any known university.
Marks required in Graduation: A minimum of 50% marks for General category. SC, ST & PwD (reserved categories) have a minimum aggregate score of 45%.
Final Year Candidates: Students that are to take their final year graduation exam in 2027 can apply. Students are however required to provide evidence of graduation prior to the commencement of the academic session.
Age Limit: There is no age restriction to take the CMAT examination.
Number of Attempts: There is no limit on the number of attempts.
CMAT Accepting Colleges 2027
Colleges that accept CMAT scores are such institutes as JBIMS, SIMSREE and K J Somaiya, and many other good B-schools in India. The percentage needed is usually between 85 and 99.99, based on the competitiveness of the institute. Applicants need to achieve a better percentile in order to have the best possible opportunity of getting enrolled in the best colleges of MBA.
