96-98 percentile in quant section of dashcat but varc messes up the overall percentile after its fluctuation. Any tips?

How to control your nerves while taking mocks (including D-day)? I make silly errors constantly because I become too tensed while attempting the questions and sometimes even forget the easiest of the easiest concepts in QA when the pressure gets me. I am constantly getting much lower than what I would have got if I were a bit calmer. I really need some advice.
