आठ व्यक्ति S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, और Z एक आठ मंजिला ईमारत में रहते हैं जिसमें भूतल की संख्या एक है और उससे ऊपर वाली मंजिल की संख्या 2 है और आगे भी इसी क्रम में. अगस्त, मई, सितंबर, नवंबर, जुलाई, दिसंबर, जून और अक्टूबर में उनकी जन्म तिथि है, लेकिन आवश्यक नहीं कि इसी क्रम में हो. 

S चौथी मंजिल से ऊपर किसी समसंख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है. जिस मंजिल पर S और जुलाई में जन्म लेने वाला व्यक्ति रहता है उन मंजिलों के बीच में दो व्यक्ति रहते हैं. U और X मंजिलों के बीच में चार व्यक्ति रहते हैं. U, X से ऊपर किसी समसंख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है. मई में जन्म लेने वाला व्यक्ति जुलाई में जन्म लेने वाले व्यक्ति से ऊपर किसी विषम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है और S से नीचे किसी मंजिल पर रहता है. जुलाई में जन्म लेने वाले व्यक्ति और S के बीच व्यक्तियों की संख्या मई में जन्म लेने वाले व्यक्ति और U के बीच रहने वाले व्यक्तियों की संख्या से दो अधिक है. T का जन्म मई में नहीं हुआ है. जितने व्यक्ति जून और अक्टूबर में जन्म लेने वाले के बीच रहते हैं उतने ही व्यक्ति मई में जन्म लेने वाले और T के बीच रहते हैं. जिस व्यक्ति का जन्म जून में हुआ था वह अक्टूबर में जन्म लेने वाले व्यक्ति से ऊपर किसी मंजिल पर और आठवीं मंजिल से नीचे किसी समसंख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहते है लेकिन चौथी मंजिल पर नहीं रहता है. Y, V से ठीक ऊपर विषम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है. चार व्यक्ति दिसम्बर और नवम्बर में जन्म लेने वाले व्यक्तियों के बीच में रहते हैं. दिसम्बर में जन्म लेने वाला व्यक्ति नवम्बर में जन्म लेने वाले व्यक्ति से ऊपर किसी मंजिल पर रहता है. T, Z से ठीक ऊपर रहता है. V का जन्म अगस्त में नहीं हुआ है. 

I am having a confusion. If in a LR question it is given that number of players from team X and  team Y is half of the number  of players from Team Z. Then does it mean X+Y=Z/2  OR X=Z/2 and Y=Z/2?
