Can we skip algebra or is it really important?

its very important , they give 4-5 questions from algebra ,according to old pattern !

What was the difficulty level of DashCAT 9 section wise?

among all the dashcats, i felt dashcat 9 to be the easiest. varc was on par , dilr was easier and quants was a notch tougher than actual cat according to me.

what is the meaning of didatic and expository tone?

Both are academic in its sense, simply meaning they have presented something in order to teach and have a moral at the end

any idea how much percentile does 76 marks fetch?

around 93 percentile( calculated using CAT 2019 score vs percentile)

I believe an objective answer is difficult but according to last year's analysis it would have just touched 80 (or maybe just above it). This year with lower number of questions that would definitely fetch you above the 80 mark maybe 82/83
