Hi guys I am preparing for CAT past 6 months.Though I was not able to complete the entire topic in the syllabus I attempted questions with the acquired knowledge.I find difficult to solve quant in the limited time frame and end up with unreasonable score though I had put my religious efforts.Could anyone here suggest me what could be done in last few days to correct me and acquire a minimal quant score to meet the standards

I was in the same place,after doing quants and understanding quants most importantly was not able to perform . 1. Stop being nervous while writing the mock. Stop being afraid to try a new approach for the first time in the mock while attempting a question. 2. Don't do new topics,focus and revise what you have done. 3. Select and do easy questions first, this will clear your cutoffs and help your time management as you won't be wasting time on sums that you end up abandoning after 3 mins . 4. Cracku quants is tough, unless Cat decides to screw up the quants section i don't think the level of difficulty will be as high as some of the mocks have (Dashcat 10),so don't stress much.

I would suggest you try as many sectional mocks as you can and do the analysis. Leave the topic which you had not covered and start revising the covered portion as time is less.

0.1*2*1, 0.01*4*4, 0.001*8*9, 0.0001*16*16. Decimal is increasing by 1 every term (getting multiplied with 0.1), the first multiplier is incrementing by multiples of two, and the second multiplier is consecutive squares. Answer would be 0.00001*32*25 = 0.00800.

14 should be a good number of attempts

At par with CAT, had the blend of both easy and moderate level questions. I guess if you are good at skipping and selecting questions one could manage around 12 questions easily.

Is having longer hair and beard than in the photograph uploaded in CAT admit card a problem? Is there any possibility that it'd create some problem in verification? Since corona cases are rising I don't want to go to hair dresser.

nope, last year i had hairs of decent length in my photo but was bald on D-Day, no prob at all

I was scoring around 90-94 in the mocks but since last two mocks(dashcat14,dashcat 17) my scores have drastically reduced to 55-60.This is really demotivating considering the exam is a week away.My scores in verbal have taken a hit!Anyone else facing this issue ?

Yes i was scoring 50 in verbal to 20- 30s now, i decided to not lose hope and move forward whatever may be the outcome

bro estimated 70 marks pe 90 percentile ban jaega iss sal......so dont lose hope be focused everything will be fine
