Can anyone tell me the percentile of cracku free mocks are right or wrong?

Hi The percentiles are reflected with respect to the total number of people who have attempted the mock and they are fairly accurate , however it might vary with respect to the same score in actual CAT because a very large number of people appear for CAT.

I am unable to maintain my accuracy in VARC while attempting mocks. I am scoring 45-46 marks when it comes to sectionals but the accuracy decreases in the case of mocks. Can you please suggest something that could help me maintain my accuracy consistently across mocks.

Hi The reason your accuracy is decreasing in mocks with respect to sectionals can be : 1. The level of mocks might be high and you are getting carried away with the attempts and attempting same number of questions as you attempt in sectionals 2. You might be taking pressure of a full mock and that is hampering your accuracy So I would suggest try to take a mock as 3 sectionals and try to get the idea of paper and attempt the questions which you are very confident of and analyze your mocks very well especially in VARC, try to find why you marked this answer and why not the correct answer , read the explanation and watch the video solution and try to avoid mistakes which you are committing more frequantly.

in mock 2 question no 34 in di is not correct accornding to me its anser should be 3 instead of 2

Hi The question is asked about a flat track and we know in case of flat track we have to maximize the number of batsmen and minimize the number of spinners , Now to maximize the batsmen we can select at most 5 batsmen so we will select them ( Mayank and Virat cannot play together ), 1 wicketkeeper so we got 6 players as we have to maximize the batsmen so we will select all the allrounders present so we got 2 more players who can bat so we are now done with 8 players and we need 3 more bowlers now we have to minimize the spinners and we have 3 fast bowlers so we will try to have all three of them but we cannot have because Bumrah and Shami will not play together to 2 fast bowlers at max can be selected and we will select 11th player as a spinner so in all we have 2 players who can bowl spin( 1 bowler and 1 AR)

Hi, can anyone recommend a good attempt strategy for Quants? There are always a good deal of questions that I can do but I get confused whether to see all questions and mark them/ or attempt what I know as I go (this approach takes a lot of time). Can someone share their strategy to maximise the score?

Hi In Quants the best strategy to increase your attempts is to first attempt all the sitters in the first 15 or 20 minutes , these should be attempted from all the topics which you have covered, and in the next 15 minutes you should go for moderate to difficult level questions from the areas that are your strengths for example if you like TSD and Work you should attempt them .And in the last 10 minutes you should try to attempt the remaining questions. Just try to make sure you are not leaving any easy question and not making mistakes in the topics which are your strength.

Look at the question, predict the time it will take(or if it's something unknown to me) and then decide if I want to attempt it. This comes with practice, I can make this decision in one read of the questions...sometimes my judgement is correct, sometimes it isn't....With every wrong judgement I learn what types of questions I have a better chance to crack and what type of question I struggle with...<br><br>One more thing I do is, attempt the 1 minute solution type questions first(Usually the simple questions scattered around the paper) and then move on to the tougher questions after I have gone through the paper once.<br>

Hello, For Q.59 of CAT 2020 slot 1, QA, about Rhombus and circle inscribed. Based on the figure, it looks like that the diameter of circle is equal to the side of Rhombus. Why can't that be the case?

Hi Circle is inscribed in the rhombus and touches all sides of rhombus and such a circle can't be formed if its diameter is equal to the side of the rhombus.
