In each of these questions two equations numbered I & II are given. You have to solve both the equations and give answer.

Question 85

I. $$4a^{2}-20a+21=0$$
II. $$2b^{2}-5b+3=0$$

Solution

$$4a^2-20a+21 = 0$$
$$(2a-3)(2a-7) = 0$$
$$a = \frac{3}{2}, \frac{7}{2}$$

$$2b^2-5b+3 = 0$$
$$(2b-3)(b-1) = 0$$
$$b = 1, \frac{3}{2}$$

$$\therefore a\geq b$$
