Question 82

P, Q and R enter into a partnership investing Rs.35000, Rs.45000 and Rs.55000. Find their respective share in the annual profit of Rs.40500.

Solution

Invested Amount is in the ratio = $$35000 :45000 :55000$$

$$7 :9 :11$$

total ratio = 27

P = $$\frac{P'share}{total share }\times40500$$
= $$\frac{7}{27}\times40500$$ =Rs.10500

Q = $$\frac{Q'share}{total share }\times40500$$
= $$\frac{9}{27}\times40500$$ =Rs.13500

P = $$\frac{R'share}{total share }\times40500$$
= $$\frac{11}{27}\times40500$$ =Rs.16500
