Solution
Let he buy 5 litres
CP = 5*24 = 120
he add 1/5th quantity = 1 litre of water
now total quantity = 6 litres
he sold at 32 per litre
SP = 6*32 = 192
gain = 72
%gain = $$\frac{72}{120} \times 100 = 60$$%
so the answer is option D.
