The value of $$16^2 - 256^{\frac{1}{4}} + 2197^{\frac{1}{3}}$$ is:

Solution

= $$16^2 - 256^{\frac{1}{4}} + 2197^{\frac{1}{3}}$$

= $$256-\left(4^4\right)^{\frac{1}{4}}+\left(13^3\right)^{\frac{1}{3}}$$

= $$256-\left(4\right)^{4\times\ \frac{1}{4}}+\left(13\right)^{3\times\frac{1}{3}}$$

= $$256-4+13$$

= 252+13

= 265
