Solution
Let the 1 number be x.
Larger number = x +Â 2001
Quotient = x,
Dividend =Â x + 2001
$$Quotient \times divisor + remainder = dividend$$
$$9x + 41 = x + 2001$$
8x = 1960
x = 245
Larger number = 2001 + 245 = 2246
Sm of the larger number = 2 +Â 2 + 4 +Â 6 = 14
