A train 300 m long is running at a speed of 90 km/hr. How many seconds will it take to cross a 200 m long train running in the opposite direction at a speed of 60 km/hr ?
Time taken = Sum of length of trains/ Relative speed
Sum of length = 200 + 300 = 500
Relative speed = Addition of the two speeds, since trains travelling in opposite direction.
t = 500/(90+60)*5/18
t = 12 seconds
Hence C
