Solution

Radius of the circle = 7 cm

Circumference of the circle = $$2\times\frac{22}{7}\times7$$ = 44 cm

Perimeter of square is equal to the circumference of the circle.

Perimeter of the square = 44 cm

Let the side of the square = a

4a = 44

a = 11 cm

Ratio of the area of the circle to area of the square = $$\frac{22}{7}\times7^2\ :\ 11^2$$

= 14 : 11

Hence, the correct answer is Option C
