Find length of the arc whose central angle is 90° and radius of the circle is 3.5 cm?

Solution

Central angle = $$\theta = 90$$° and radius = $$r = 3.5$$ cm

Length of arc = $$\frac{\theta}{360} \times 2 \pi r$$

= $$\frac{90}{360} \times 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 3.5$$

= $$\frac{1}{4} \times 22 = 5.5$$ cm

=> Ans - (B)
