A square has beeninscribed in a circle. What is the ratio of the length of a side of the square to the radius of the circle?
Solution
Let the side of square be x
Diagonal of square = diameter of circle =Â $$d^2=2\ x^2$$Â Â
                             d=$$\sqrt{\ 2}x$$ and r= $$\frac{x}{\sqrt{\ 2}}$$
