If the height of a triangle is $$(4x^2 + 6)$$ unit and the base of that triangle is $$(3x^2 - 4)$$ unit, then the area of the triangle in sq. unit is
The area is $$\frac{1}{2}(4x^2 + 6)(3x^2 - 4) = \frac{1}{2}(12x^4 - 16x^2 + 18x^2 - 24)$$. This simplifies to $$\frac{1}{2}(12x^4 + 2x^2 - 24) = 6x^4 + x^2 - 12$$.
