Δ ABC is right angled at B. If m∠A = 60°, then what is the value of sec C.sin A?

Solution

Given : m∠A = 60° and m∠B = 90°

=> In $$\triangle$$ ABC,

=> ∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

=> ∠C + 60° + 90° = 180°

=> ∠C = 180° - 150° = 30°

To find : sec C.sin A

= $$sec(30^\circ) \times sin(60^\circ)$$

= $$\frac{2}{\sqrt3}\times\frac{\sqrt3}{2}=1$$

=> Ans - (D)
