Let total work to be done = 90 units
Meghnad's efficiency = $$\frac{90}{45} = 2$$ units/hr
Jayshri is 50% more efficient than Meghnad, => Jayshri's efficiency = $$\frac{150}{100} \times 2 = 3$$ units/hr
=> Meghnad and Jayshri 1 day's work = 2 + 3 = 5 units/hr
$$\therefore$$ Time taken by them to finish the work together = $$\frac{90}{5} = 18$$ hours
