$$\text{Top input} = \bar{A} \quad (\text{via NOT gate})$$

$$\text{Bottom input} = \bar{B} \quad (\text{via NOT gate})$$

$$Y = \overline{\bar{A} \cdot \bar{B}}$$

$$\implies Y = \overline{\bar{A}} + \overline{\bar{B}} = A + B \quad (\text{OR gate operation})$$
