Each question is provided with 4-alternative answers. One or more than one of them are correct answers. Indicate the correct answer by A,B,C,D.
Consider the following ionization enthalpies of two elements 'A' and 'B'

Which of the following statements is/are correct?
For both elements the big jump comes between the 2nd and 3rd ionization enthalpies, so each has 2 valence electrons and belongs to group 2. Ionization enthalpy decreases down a group, and B has lower values than A, so B lies below A. These are Be (A) and Mg (B).
