In ΔDEF measure of angle E is 90o. If tanD = 4/3, and DE = 6cm, then what is the length (in cm) of side EF?

Given : DE = 6 cm and tan D = $$\frac{4}{3}$$
To find : EF = ?
Solution : In right $$\triangle$$ DEF,
=> $$tan(D)=\frac{EF}{DE}$$
=> $$\frac{4}{3}=\frac{EF}{6}$$
=> $$EF=\frac{4}{3}\times6=8$$ cm
=> Ans - (C)
