The length of the diagonal and the breadth of a rectangle are 29 cm and 20 cm respectively. Find its perimeter (in cm).
Solution
Let the length of rectangle = $$l$$ cm and breadth, $$b=20$$ cm
=> Diagonal, $$d^2=l^2+b^2$$
=> $$l^2=(29)^2-(20)^2$$
=> $$l^2=841-400=441$$
=> $$l=\sqrt{441}=21$$ cm
$$\therefore$$ Perimeter = $$2\times(21+20)=2\times41=82$$ cm
=> Ans - (B)
