Solution

In 1 revolution wheel will complete a distance of $$2\pi r = 2 \times \pi \times \frac{98}{2}$$ = 308 cm.
Hence to cover 1540 m. , revolutions will be = $$\frac{1540\times100}{308} = 500$$
