Given, 15 men can finish a work in 20 days

$$=$$> 1 man can finish the work in $$20\times15=300$$ days

24 women can finish the work in 20 days

$$=$$> 1 woman can finish the work in $$20\times24=480$$ days

$$=$$> Work done by 1 woman in 1 day = $$\frac{1}{480}$$

$$\therefore\ $$Work done by 10 men and 8 women in 1 day = $$10\left(\frac{1}{300}\right)+8\left(\frac{1}{400}\right)=\frac{1}{30}+\frac{1}{60}=\frac{1}{20}$$
