Solution
If $$x = k^{3} - 3k^{2}$$ and $$y= 1 - 3k$$
then for $$x = y$$
=> $$k^3 - 3k^2 = 1 - 3k$$
=> $$k^3 - 1 - 3k^2 + 3k = 0$$
=> $$(k-1)^3 = 0$$
=> $$k = 1$$
